Anthony J. Sweeney

Anthony J. Sweeney is an experienced professional in renewable energy and economic development, currently serving as the Assistant Land Manager at Fred. Olsen Renewables since November 2021. Responsibilities include negotiating commercial development agreements, securing land rights, and managing contractual obligations. Prior to this role, Anthony worked as a Project and Policy Advisor for the Scottish Government, where the focus was on enhancing business resilience during the Covid-19 pandemic and developing support mechanisms for key companies. Anthony's earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Operations Manager at Ofgem in the renewables sector and roles in customer service at Sainsbury's and Coral Racing Limited. Anthony holds a BSc (Honours) in Environmental Geography from the University of Stirling, completed in 2019.
