Christian Valencia has extensive experience in finance and risk management within major financial institutions. Currently serving as Head of Credit Risk Transfer and Vice President of SF CRT Capital Markets at Freddie Mac since May 2014, Christian has also held leadership roles such as Director during this tenure. Prior to Freddie Mac, Christian worked as CFO at Corporación de Desarrollo de Mercado Secundario and as a Senior Consultant at Primatics Financial. Experience includes positions as an Investment Officer at the Inter American Development Bank, Senior Trader at Fannie Mae, Portfolio Manager at Freddie Mac, and Financial Analyst at Federal Trust Bank. Christian holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business and a BS in Finance from the University of West Florida.
