Thadi Murali

Thadi Murali is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT risk management and governance, currently serving as the Director of IT Risk and AI Governance at Freddie Mac since October 2024. Prior to this role, Thadi was a Managing Principal at Capco, where collaboration with organizations focused on operational risk management programs and enhancing control management for a large financial institution. Thadi played a significant role in ensuring compliance for multiple banks with OCC charter requirements related to model governance and stress testing. Earlier experience includes a Senior Manager position at SunGard, leading consulting engagements in capital markets compliance and risk, as well as a Senior Principal role at Infosys Consulting, where an operational risk management program was developed to meet Basel II regulations. Thadi holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
