Zachary Schley

Zachary Schley has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Zachary started their career in 2004 at Sears Holdings Corporation, where they worked as a Salesfloor Supervisor and handled multiple responsibilities, including sales, inventory analysis, and department management. Throughout their tenure, they were also a key carrier and assisted with store operations. In 2019, they joined the City of Frederick as a Wastewater Treatment Operator. The following year, they moved to the Frederick County Government, where they served as a Unit Judge until 2020 when they were promoted to Chief Judge. In 2020, Zachary returned to the City of Frederick and assumed the role of Assistant Superintendent of Wastewater Treatment before being promoted to Superintendent of Wastewater Treatment in 2023.

In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator (class 5A) certification from the Maryland Department of the Environment in July 2022.
