Ceoli Jacoby

Ceoli Jacoby is an experienced journalist with a focus on government reporting. Currently serving as a Government Reporter at the Frederick News-Post since June 2023, Ceoli covers the town of Mount Airy, Frederick County government, state delegation, and Maryland's 6th Congressional District. Prior to this role, Ceoli worked as a Reporter at the Howard Center for Investigative Journalism at the University of Maryland, analyzing primary source documents and collaborating with the Associated Press. Additional experience includes a communications internship with the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, where Ceoli contributed to social media and newsletter content, and editorial internships with Montgomery Community Media and MID-ATLANTIC MEDIA, focusing on local government, public safety, and human interest stories. Ceoli holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Maryland, completed in 2023.
