Larissa Buschmann

Larissa Buschmann is an experienced professional in gender and media advocacy, currently serving as Programme Coordinator for Gender & Media at Free Press Unlimited since May 2019, where responsibilities include mainstreaming gender in journalism and media development. Previously, Larissa held the position of International Project Manager for Eastern Europe and Central Asia at COC Nederland from November 2016 to October 2018, and served in various roles at the KIT Royal Tropical Institute from August 2008 to October 2016, including Senior Project & Acquisition Officer and Business Development Officer. Larissa also has a background in leadership as Chairperson of the Association of Business Consultants in Crimea and as Deputy Director of the Crimean Business Development Agency. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from Gorlivka Institute of Foreign Languages and additional studies at the Crimean Academy of Environmental Protection and Resort Construction.
