Donald McKenzie

Donald McKenzie has extensive experience in corporate finance and governance within the housing sector. Currently serving as a Non-Executive Board Member and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at Freebridge Community Housing since February 2021, McKenzie also holds the position of Director of Corporate Finance and Deputy Company Secretary at Metropolitan Thames Valley since October 2018, having previously been the Head of Corporate Finance for Metropolitan Housing Trust. Additional roles include Board Chair and Non-Executive Director at Havebury Housing Partnership, and various finance leadership positions at METROPOLITAN HOUSING TRUST LIMITED, Servite Houses, Hanover Housing Group, Wandle Housing Association, and Tokai Bank Europe. McKenzie began their career as a Trainee Chartered Accountant at Larking Gowen and served as a Financial Analyst at Merrill Lynch. Academic credentials include a BA in Economics from the University of Sussex.
