Colin Percival

Colin Percival has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Colin started their career in 2004 at The FreeBSD Project, where they held multiple positions including Release Engineering Lead, Committer, Deputy Release Engineering Lead, Core team member, Security Officer, and FreeBSD Developer. In 2019, they joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Community Hero. In 2006, they also worked as a Developer at Tarsnap. Prior to that, in 2005, they served as a Post-doctoral researcher at Simon Fraser University.

Colin Percival completed their B.Sc. in Mathematics from Simon Fraser University from 1994 to 2000. Colin then pursued further studies in Computer Science, earning a D.Phil. from the University of Oxford between 2001 and 2005.
