Gwen Elwood

Gwen Elwood is a seasoned consultant at Freed Associates since October 2012, with prior experience as a Clinical Analyst and Project Manager at LIPIX, Inc. from January 2011 to August 2012, and an Associate at Cicero Consulting Associates from January 2010 to January 2011. Earlier roles include an internship at Grameen America and working on a USAID/Food Security Capstone project at Booz Allen Hamilton. Gwen has also contributed to research as a Market Research Intern at Michael Allen Company and as a Writer/Editor at the Center for Bioethics. With a strong foundation in health and international affairs, Gwen holds an MPH in Sociomedical Science, a MIA in International Affairs from Columbia University, and a BA in Community Health from Brown University. Notable presentations include "Chronic Gestational Exposure to Ethanol Impairs Signal Transduction Programs Required for Placental Implantation and Fetal Growth."
