Shaun Murphy

Shaun Murphy has extensive experience in the financial industry, specializing in credit and regulatory risk management. Shaun has held various executive roles at notable organizations, including Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer at Freedom Bank of Virginia, Sr. Executive Vice President/Chief Credit & Risk Officer at City First Bank of DC, and Chief Risk Officer at H Bancorp LLC. Shaun also served as a Managing Director at Hovde Private Equity Advisors LLC, where they focused on the financial services industry. Additionally, they have served on the boards of Carrollton Bancorp, Bay Bank, FSB, and Jefferson Bancorp, Inc. Earlier in their career, Shaun held positions at CapitalSource and PNC Financial Services Group. Shaun Murphy obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance from Villanova University. This four-year program spanned from 1979 to 1983.
