Jim Baldwin began their work experience in 1998 as an IT Helpdesk Administrator at Inchcape Plc, where they provided technical support, managed service tickets, handled department administration, and collaborated with external suppliers. Jim later progressed to the roles of IS Support Analyst, WAN Support Analyst, and Infrastructure Architect at the same company. In 2016, they attended the University of Salford as an MSc student specializing in Cyber Security, Threat Intelligence, and Forensics. After completing their studies in 2017, they joined idappcom ltd as a Cyber Security Analyst. From 2018 to 2022, they served as an Information Security Manager at Daisy Group, where they were responsible for various aspects of IT and communications services. Currently, they hold the position of Information & Cyber Security Manager at Freedom Fibre, a UK fibre network provider focused on delivering high-speed broadband to all.
Jim Baldwin obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Cyber Security, Threat Intelligence, and Forensics from The University of Salford, starting in 2016 and completing it in 2017. Additionally, they obtained the ISO27001:2013 Lead Auditor certification from BSI in October 2019. Jim also holds the CompTIA CySA+ (CS0-002) Cert Prep certificates in Threat Management and Security Operations and Monitoring, which they obtained from LinkedIn in September 2022. Jim Baldwin's education also includes certifications in ITIL V2 Foundation and Prince 2 Foundation, although the details of the institution and the year of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
