Rich Wilson

Rich Wilson is a seasoned professional in fibre network design and infrastructure planning, currently serving as a Senior Fibre Network Designer at Freedom Fibre since October 2024. Prior to this, Rich held positions at Digital Infrastructure and VXFIBER, focusing on poling design, area analysis, and FTTP design across various UK regions. With extensive experience at BT Group from 1997 to 2021, Rich played pivotal roles in the delivery of the Ultrafast programme, managed national rollouts, and was responsible for core fibre planning on significant projects. Rich's career began as a modern apprentice, leading to a comprehensive understanding of diverse roles within the telecommunications sector.
