Dan Kirkwood

Dan Kirkwood is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering roles. At Achieve from 2021 to 2024, Dan contributed to a team developing gRPC API support for personal and home loan services, managing microservices in Go to streamline client data integration. Prior to Achieve, Dan served as a Senior Backend Engineer at Valimail, focusing on email authenticity verification using DNS records and Outlook API integrations. At Comcast, Dan played a pivotal role in transitioning open-source CDN software from Perl to Go and collaborating with the Apache Foundation. Earlier in the career, Dan worked at Xilinx as a Senior/Staff Software Engineer, developing web applications and tools in C++ and Perl within an Agile framework. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Penn State University and further education from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
