Hossein Torkashvand

Hossein Torkashvand is an experienced professional in international development, currently serving as an Advisor at Freedom House since February 2018. Previously, Torkashvand held the position of Program Officer at the Abdorrahman Boroumand Center from February 2017 to February 2018 and worked as a Media and Communication Officer at Tavaana from May 2012 to June 2016. Torkashvand began professional experience as a Digital Security Expert at Ijad from June 2007 to August 2011, and prior to that, worked as a Project Manager on HVAC systems for Jaber Hospital in Tehran, Iran, from June 2007 to August 2011. Torkashvand holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University at Albany (2012-2014) and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic (2002-2008).
