Vanessa Thomas

Vanessa Thomas is an experienced cosmetic scientist and entrepreneur with a strong background in product development for cosmetic, personal care, and dietary liquids. As the Founder and Senior Cosmetic Scientist at Freelance Formulations, LLC since September 2016, Vanessa leads formulation projects. Prior to this, Vanessa served as Co-Owner and COO at Debut Development from November 2014 to October 2017 and as a Senior Formulator at Celmark International from August 2011 to November 2014. Additional roles include RD Manager at Sun & Skin Care Research, focusing on sun care formulations, and Chemist at Hair Systems Inc. Vanessa holds a Master of Arts in Cosmetic Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
