Penny O'Neill

Penny O'Neill, MSN, RN-BC, serves as the Director of Quality & Value-Based Care at Commonwealth Primary Care, Inc. since April 2019, while also working as a Senior Nurse Informatics Consultant & Educator since September 2018. O'Neill has been with Bon Secours Health System since June 2015, currently managing a team of data analysts focused on clinical quality metrics, and previously coordinated data for improving clinical transformation. With extensive experience at VCU Health System and HCA Henrico Doctors' Hospital, O'Neill has held various nursing and leadership roles, spearheading process improvements and implementing electronic medical record systems. O'Neill's educational background includes a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Applied Clinical Informatics from the University of Minnesota and an MSN in Clinical Informatics from the University of Colorado Denver, complemented by undergraduate degrees from James Madison University.
