Laura Zhao

Laura Zhao is a seasoned professional in the actuarial and insurance fields, currently serving as a Senior Underwriter at Freely since September 2022. Previously, Laura held roles at IAG as a Pricing Specialist, where responsibilities included leading pricing projects and enhancing pricing standards, and at Suncorp Group as a Senior Pricing Analyst, focusing on delivering various pricing projects and analytics for commercial insurance products. Laura's academic background includes a Master of Actuarial Studies and a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies from UNSW, complemented by experience in data analysis within the Australian superannuation sector as a Research Assistant and involvement with the Actuaries Institute as Secretary of the Young Data Analytics Working Group.
