Colin Clarke serves as a Vice President of Freeman’s and is a Representative for the Southeast Regional Office, which provides services to clients from Virginia to Florida. He specializes in providing verbal auction valuations for single items or entire collections and formal written appraisals for estate planning, estate tax, charitable donations, gift tax, and insurance.
Clarke joined Freeman’s in 2004, and for the past seventeen years has been instrumental in achieving some of Freeman’s most successful results for single items and significant collections from Palm Beach to New York. Clarke first joined Freeman’s in Charlottesville, Virginia, then moved to its regional office in Richmond, Virginia, the operational arm of Freeman’s Southeast Regional branch. Well-versed in all aspects of selling items, Clarke collaborates with Freeman’s Philadelphia specialists to assist clients across departmental needs.
Clarke has over three decades of art business expertise, ranging from his first post as a restorer for the Royal Collection to his background as a founding member of several private dealer partnerships, including Knightsbridge Fine Art in New York City, which specializes in 18th and 19th-century fine art.
