Thorbjörn Åklint

Thorbjörn Åklint has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Thorbjörn is currently working at Freemelt AB as the Vice President Customer Operations, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Customer Support Manager at Freemelt AB starting from November 2019. Before joining Freemelt AB, they worked at Comentor AB as a Software and Safety Engineer from May 2017 to November 2019. Thorbjörn also has experience working as a Forskare at Swerea from July 2009 to May 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant at Whiola from 2015 to 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior R&D Engineer at Mycronic from 1999 to 2009, and as a Product Specialist at Multichannel Instruments AB from November 1997 to November 1999. Thorbjörn began their career as a PHD Student at Chalmers University of Technology, where they worked from 1993 to 1997.

Thorbjörn Åklint obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Physics from Chalmers University of Technology in the year 1993. Thorbjörn continued their academic pursuits at the same university and graduated with a Licentiate degree in Physics in 1997.
