Eric Berglund

Eric Berglund is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical writing and education services across various industries, including healthcare, cybersecurity, and technology. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Writer at Freenome since August 2021, Eric focuses on engineering documentation for medical device software and has contributed to the documentation required for the PMA of a colorectal cancer blood test. Prior roles include Sr. Technical Writer and IT Program Manager at 23andMe, where Eric supported health and ancestry reports and scientific research, and various managerial positions at companies such as Palo Alto Networks, EVault, VMware, Netcentives, GNAC, Synopsys, and Pyramid Technology, where Eric led teams in training, technical operations, and IT services. Eric holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Michigan State University and has pursued a PhD in Computer Science at Stanford University.
