Kate Dennis

Senior Director, Market Analytics, Insights & Planning at Freenome

Kate Dennis has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Kate is currently working at Freenome as the Senior Director of Market Analytics, Insights & Planning. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Marketing at Fellow, where they built a new marketing team and led the product organization.

Before joining Fellow, Kate held multiple roles at Guardant Health, including Senior Director of Strategy & Operations, Director of Marketing & Sales Analytics, Associate Director of Marketing Analytics, and Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics.

Kate also worked as a Business Consultant at ZS, where they managed strategic marketing engagements for pharmaceutical clients and contributed to business development efforts. Additionally, they held positions at Picarro, Inc. as a Senior Marketing Manager and Product Manager, and at Princeton University and Harvard University as a postdoctoral fellow and PhD student, respectively.

At Princeton, they focused on developing an isotope technique to determine past atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations, while at Harvard, they studied the formation temperature of carbonate rocks and was involved in the energy community.

Earlier in their career, Kate worked as a Research Assistant at the Natural Resources Defense Council, where they provided research support to the Climate Center and engaged the insurance industry in discussions on the risks of climate change.

Kate Dennis earned a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia between 2000 and 2004. Then, they pursued a PhD in Earth and Planetary Sciences at Harvard University from 2006 to 2011. Kate also had a brief period of study in Marine Sciences/Geosciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002-2003. In terms of additional certifications, Kate obtained a 200 Hour Power Yoga Certification from Yoga Alliance in 2018. Additionally, they took courses in Business Administration and Management at Stanford Continuing Studies, although the duration of this study is unspecified.
