Preston Williams

Preston Williams is a Senior Research Scientist II at Freenome since October 2022, with extensive experience in proteomics and metabolomics. In addition to this role, Preston serves on the Scientific Steering Committee for the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study at Morris Animal Foundation since September 2020. Previous positions include Senior Scientist and Scientist III at PrognomiQ Inc from May 2021 to September 2022, and Scientist II at Second Genome Inc. from June 2020 to May 2021. Earlier work at SomaLogic from January 2018 to June 2020 involved applying mass spectrometry techniques to study DNA-protein interactions. Preston's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Riverside, where research focused on protein interactions with DNA damage, supported by a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Biology.
