Bryan Dick, PE, PH, PhD has had over 17 years of experience in various roles related to water resources and environmental engineering. Bryan began their career at AECOM in 2006 as a Program Manager and Practice Lead, where they managed projects such as watershed studies, stormwater management, and stream restoration. In 2014, they founded Lotic Solutions LLC and served as President until its acquisition by Freese and Nichols in December 2016. At Lotic Solutions, they specialized in riverbank and shoreline stabilization, hydrology, and environmental remediation. Currently, they are an Associate at Freese and Nichols, leading the Fluvial Ecosystem Restoration efforts.

Bryan Dick, PE, PH, PhD, received their formal education from various institutions. In 1996, they graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resource Management. Bryan then pursued their interest in Civil Engineering and completed another Bachelor of Science degree, this time in Civil Engineering, at Clemson University in 2003.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Bryan furthered their education in Applied Hydraulics and Hydrology, obtaining a Master of Science degree from Clemson University in 2005. Bryan then went on to pursue their passion for Dendrogeomorphology and earned a PhD in that field from North Carolina State University in 2012.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Bryan completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Root Dendrogeomorphology and Cross Laminated Timber from North Carolina State University in 2019.

Throughout their education, Bryan demonstrated a comprehensive range of interests, spanning from forest resource management and civil engineering to applied hydraulics and dendrogeomorphology.
