John Dewar P.e.

John Dewar, P.E. has over 30 years of work experience in the engineering field. John started their career at SSFM International in 1990 as a Structural Engineer and worked there until 1994. In 1994, they joined Freese and Nichols as a Structural Engineer and Project Manager. John held this role until 1998. From 1999 to 2006, Dewar served as the Structural Group Manager at Freese and Nichols. John then became the Transportation Group Manager from 2007 to 2016. Currently, they are the North Texas Assistant Division Manager and Vice President at Freese and Nichols, a position they have held since 2017.

John Dewar, P.E. attended The University of Texas at Austin, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from 1985 to 1989. Following their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education at the University of California, Berkeley from 1989 to 1990, obtaining a Master of Science in Structural Engineering.
