Adam Edwards

Adam Edwards has over 13 years of work experience in the legal and financial services sector. Adam currently works at Freeths LLP as the Partner and Head of Financial Services Regulation. In this role, they focus on providing advice on fund structures, regulatory regimes, and FCA authorizations, among other areas. Prior to that, they worked at Nottingham Insurance Institute, where they served as Vice President, President, and Deputy President & Education Secretary. Additionally, Adam worked at Browne Jacobson LLP as an Associate and Solicitor, handling disputes and financial services regulatory work, including FCA investigations and insurance policy coverage disputes. Adam also represented the Trustee in Bankruptcy of Bernie Madoff. Adam began their career at Kennedys as a Solicitor, specializing in insurance coverage and defense work, particularly in financial lines and professional indemnity.

Adam Edwards attended the University of Warwick from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. Following this, from 2006 to 2007, they enrolled in the Inns of Court School of Law to pursue a LPC (Legal Practice Course) degree.
