Helen Mitcheson is an accomplished legal and environmental professional with extensive experience in marine mammal conservation and environmental law. Currently serving as the Director at Cet Law, Inc. and working as an Environmental Lawyer at Freeths LLP, Helen has also co-founded and co-convenes the Marine Working Party for the UK Environmental Law Association and holds various leadership roles within organizations such as the Mammal Society. With a career that includes previous positions at Trowers & Hamlins as a solicitor and at Weightmans as a trainee solicitor, along with significant roles in environmental consultancy, Helen has cultivated a strong expertise in legal and environmental matters. Helen holds a Master of Laws in Environmental Law from Newcastle University, a Master’s degree in Marine Mammal Science from the University of St Andrews, and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science from the University of Liverpool.
