Mari Kydd

Mari Kydd is a legal assistant at Freeths, beginning in November 2023, following a brief role at Herbert Smith Freehills as part of the Black Talent Open Day and virtual work experience. Previous experience includes participation in the Black in Law Conference and virtual work experience at Clifford Chance, as well as legal work experience at Carringtons Solicitors. Customer service roles were held at The Rose Inn and Nando's UK & IRE, while also teaching music independently between December 2019 and August 2020. Additional experience includes legal and business work exposure at Sky and coaching at Wokingham Borough Council. Mari Kydd holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Nottingham, completed in June 2023, and A Levels in English Literature, Music, and Philosophy from The Sixth Form College Farnborough. Educational background also includes attendance at Kendrick Grammar School.
