Nimitt Desai

Nimitt Desai has over two decades of work experience in various technical roles. Nimitt started their career as a Consultant at Philip Morris International in 1999 and later worked at Altria as a Consultant in 2004. From 2005 to 2010, they held the position of Team Lead, Platform at ContextWeb where they were responsible for designing and developing platform systems. In 2010, they joined FreeWheel / Visible World / Comcast as a Senior Software Architect, leading teams in architecture, design, development, and testing. In 2016, they became the Senior Director, Software Engineering at FreeWheel, overseeing a large engineering organization and implementing best practices, Agile processes, and talent development. Currently, they hold the role of Executive Director, Software Engineering at FreeWheel.

Nimitt Desai completed their high school education at Diwan Ballubhai High School from 1977 to 1989. Nimitt then pursued a degree in Computer Science, earning a B.E. from L.D. College of Engineering and Gujarat University from 1989 to 1993.
