Don Blake

Don Blake is an accomplished mechanical engineer with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at FreeWire Technologies since February 2023, Don specializes in designing mechanical components for power converter electronics. Previous roles include Senior Mechanical Engineer at Inspired Flight Technologies, VP of Engineering at Hemp Harvest Innovations, and Director of Engineering at Left Hand Technologies, where Don led the design of underwater cameras and IoT systems. Don's career began at Seagate Technology, advancing through positions such as Staff Engineer and Engineering Manager, focusing on failure analysis and quality issues in manufacturing. Don holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
