Pieter Kinds

Pieter Kinds is an experienced business leader currently serving as the CEO of Freightender, a platform for managing freight RFQs, since February 2016. Pieter has also held significant roles, including Director of Global Business Development at ControlPay BV from February 2011 to February 2020 and COO from February 2003 to January 2011. Pieter's entrepreneurial spirit is evident from the establishment of Obzor newspaper, the first free western-style newspaper in Ukraine, which was sold in 2005. Additional experience includes executive roles at KP Media, Nortel Networks, and MediaMine, as well as investment responsibilities at Eye4Storage since June 2024. Pieter holds a BA in languages, specializing in Russian and English, from Maastricht School for Translation & Interpreting, completed in 1998.
