Mahnaz Asghari

Mahnaz Asghari has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Mahnaz is currently working as an Internet of Things Engineer at FreightVerify Inc since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at Pegasus Knowledge Solutions from May 2019 to March 2020, where they developed a customer attrition model for banks and built a cross-selling tool for financial institutions.

Before that, Mahnaz worked as a Graduate Assistant at Virginia Tech from June 2016 to May 2019. In this role, they developed a pricing tool for recommending selling prices for products based on their specifications.

Mahnaz started their career as a Data Analyst at Tejarat Bank from June 2010 to July 2012. In this role, they designed a database using SQL to store survey data and performed descriptive analytics using SPSS to gain insights about customers' preferences.

Mahnaz Asghari has a strong educational background. Mahnaz pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics from Kharazmi University, which they completed from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they obtained their Master of Science degree in Social and Economic Systems Engineering from the University of Tehran, where they studied between 2012 and 2014. Mahnaz then enrolled at Virginia Tech and obtained their Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from 2016 to 2018. Mahnaz continued their studies at Virginia Tech and successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Operations Research from 2016 to 2019.
