Mingxi Zhu

Mingxi Zhu currently serves as Architectural Designer 2 at FREIHEIT Architecture since August 2023, having previously held the role of Architectural Designer 1. Prior experience includes an internship at Anderson Anderson Architecture and a position as Project Designer at genarchitects, where Mingxi was involved in significant projects such as a 27-key hotel and gymnasium, encompassing tasks from code research to design development. Earlier roles include assistance at gmp von Gerkan, Marg and Partners Architects, contributing to award-winning competition designs, as well as positions in landscape design and architecture internships at Pubang Landscape Architecture Co., Ltd. and Atelier CnS. Mingxi obtained a Master of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Landscape Architecture from South China University of Technology.
