Matthew Wilson

Matthew Wilson serves as the Group General Counsel at Fremantle since August 2021. Previously, Matthew held the position of General Counsel for EMEA & APAC at Uber from July 2015 to August 2021, overseeing a diverse team responsible for legal matters across 50 countries. Prior roles include Head of Legal and Business Affairs for Digital Ventures at Telefónica Digital, where Matthew led a multinational team and advised at the board level, and Legal Counsel positions at Arsenal F.C. and O2 UK, focusing on various commercial and regulatory matters. Matthew's legal career began at Baker & McKenzie as an Associate after completing education at the University of Durham and the College of Law, where Matthew earned degrees in Economics and Politics, GDL, and LPC.
