Olivier Bovyn

Olivier BOVYN serves as Vice President of Pratiques Sportives Voile Légère et Glisse at Fédération Française de Voile since March 2021. With extensive experience in sailing, Olivier has held the position of Nominated Expert at World Sailing since November 2009, conducting audits for National Sailing Federations to support the recognition of their development programs. As the Founding President of the International Formula 18 Class Association since 1994 and President of the CLUB DE VOILE DE LA BAIE D ERQUY since 1982, Olivier demonstrates a strong commitment to the sport. Previously, Olivier worked as an Inspector at the Ministère de l'Éducation nationale, de la Jeunesse et des Sports from 1999 to 2017 and served as Chairman of the Development & Youth Committee at World Sailing from 2008 to December 2016. Olivier holds educational qualifications from Ecole Supérieure de l'Education Nationale and CP ENA.
