Guillermo Medrano

Guillermo Medrano, Dr. has extensive experience in biomedical engineering and system engineering, currently serving as Design Lead in System Engineering PD R&D at Fresenius Medical Care since September 2009, where responsibilities include technical lead in software reverse engineering and automated testing. Prior positions include Engineering Project Manager and Development Engineer, focusing on chronic dialysis and physiological modelling. Earlier experience includes a research fellowship at RWTH Aachen University, contributing to clinical research and wearable technology, as well as a master thesis at Philips Semiconductors on integrated circuit development. Guillermo holds a Dr.-Ing. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, a Master of Science in Microelectronics and Microsystems from Hamburg University of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad Don Bosco.
