John Koumpourlis

John Koumpourlis is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. As the founder of Fotia Mediterranean since January 2023, and a business partner at Pure Barre in Garden City, New York, since January 2016, Koumpourlis has made significant contributions to both fitness and culinary sectors. Additionally, as a business partner and director of construction at Fresh&Co NYC since May 2009, Koumpourlis has managed design and construction efforts for the brand. Their earlier experience includes a partnership at Cafe Metro until December 2021 and serving as managing partner at Food Exchange Catering and Events from 1997 to September 2016, overseeing the growth of the company into a leading catering service in Manhattan. John Koumpourlis holds an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology, earned from 1987 to 1992.
