Charles Chan

Charles Chan has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Lead Project Manager in Marketing at FreshBooks since November 2020. Prior to that, in 2020, they completed the Data Scientist Program as a student at Springboard, where they gained expertise in Python, SQL, data analysis, data visualization, hypothesis testing, and machine learning. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Technical Project Manager and Operations Manager at IMC BA. Charles also has experience as a Digital Project Manager at Agility CMS from 2017 to 2018. In 2015, Charles co-founded shelpr.com and was involved in its ideation, production, and ongoing advancement until 2017. Before that, they worked as a Producer and Digital Project Manager at Inorbital from 2008 to 2016. Charles started their career in 2002 as a Software Developer at the University of Toronto Research Lab, where they were involved in developing scripts and tools in Perl, creating desktop scheduling tools, and co-authoring a research paper.

Charles Chan has a background in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Toronto. Additionally, they have obtained a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in 2020 and a Kentico Developer Certification.
