Joerg Strauss

Joerg Strauss has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Joerg started their career in 1995 as a Consultant at Tebodin and later transitioned to Cambridge Technology Partners as a Senior Consultant. In 1999, they became a Managing Partner at Scope/Cortex Consulting. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as a Managing Consultant at DMR, and then joined Droege Group as a Senior Consultant from 2005 to 2006. In 2007, Joerg became the Head of Erste Group Procurement Austria, where they were responsible for strategic sourcing categories and had full P&L and HR responsibility for the Austria operations. Joerg continued their career at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as the Global Head of Procurement and Knowledge Operations from 2014 to 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Pricing, Continental Europe at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

Joerg Strauss obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from Universität Siegen, which they completed between 1990 and 1995. Joerg later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Public Governance and Management from Modul University Vienna, which they completed between 2011 and 2013. In addition to their degrees, Joerg Strauss holds certifications including FCIPS (Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) from The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, and SPSM (Senior Professional in Supply Management) from Next Level Purchasing Association.
