Laura Stjernstedt Sinyama

Laura Stjernstedt Sinyama currently serves as the Office Manager at Freshwater Habitats Trust, beginning in January 2024. Prior to this role, Laura had a lengthy tenure at UNDP Zambia as a Program Associate from January 2005 to August 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing project implementation and reporting, ensuring programmatic delivery, and providing quality assurance for financial audits. Previous experience includes a consultancy role at WILDLIFE AND ENVIRONMENTAL SOCIETY OF SOUTH AFRICA, evaluation work for the Swedish International Development Agency and Red Cross, and volunteer positions focused on resource mobilization and environmental education. Laura holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management from the University of the Free State and a Bachelor's Degree in Developmental Studies from the University of East London.
