Rich Hodgkinson has a diverse work experience in the field of athletic equipment management. Rich started their career as an Assistant Equipment Manager at the University of San Diego in 2013. Rich then moved on to California State University, Fresno, where they served as an Assistant Equipment Manager for a few months in 2014. Later that year, they joined San Jose State University as the Head Football Equipment Manager and Athletic Equipment Attendant II until 2016.
From 2016 to 2022, Rich Hodgkinson worked at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) as the Assistant Athletic Director for Equipment Services, where they held the position of Administrator I. In 2022, they briefly worked at San Diego State University as the Head Football Equipment Manager and Administrator I.
Currently, Rich Hodgkinson holds the position of Director of Equipment, Olympic Sports at Fresno State Athletics, starting from March 2023.
Rich Hodgkinson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from San Diego State University, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. Later, they pursued a Master of Education degree in Sport Management from The University of Texas at Austin, from 2019 to 2020.
