Clarissa Dicarlo

Clarissa DiCarlo has extensive experience in animal care within various zoological and aquarium settings, currently serving as a Sea Lion Cove Keeper at Fresno Chaffee Zoo since April 2023. Previous roles include Lead Village Keeper and Village Keeper at Wildlife Safari, along with a Care Technician 2 position at Save the Chimps, Inc. Clarissa completed internships at multiple institutions, including a Water's Edge Internship at Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium, focusing on the care of various marine and terrestrial animals. Clarissa's responsibilities throughout these roles have encompassed diet preparation, animal training, exhibit maintenance, public presentations, and enrichment activities, demonstrating a strong commitment to animal welfare and public education. Clarissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon, completed in 2020.
