Douglas Apple

Douglas Apple is an experienced professional in the field of education and marine sciences, currently serving as the Education Program Manager at Fresno Chaffee Zoo since January 2024. Prior to this role, Douglas managed education and outreach initiatives at the Aquarium of the Bay from January 2022 to January 2024. Douglas also worked as a NAUI Scuba Instructor for Seacamp Association, Inc., and as a Marine Science Instructor at Newfound Harbor Marine Institute at Seacamp. Earlier experience includes a position as a Fisheries Technician with the North Dakota Department of Game and Fish in 2019. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organismal Biology from Colorado State University.
