Jeff Laursen has extensive work experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Jeff started their career at Maersk Sealand in 2004 as an Accounts and Claims Adjuster. Jeff then worked at Maersk Broker as a Broker (Sale and Purchase) before joining Maersk Line as a Capacity Team Leader, where they managed a team responsible for capacity management for all Maersk Line services. In 2010, they became the Trade & Marketing Manager at Mercosul Line before moving to Damco as a Global Account Director in 2013. Jeff then joined Seago Line as a Market Manager, overseeing the company's services in the North Europe to South East Mediterranean region. In 2017, they joined Maersk Growth as the Business Development Lead, and in 2018, they became Co-CEO at Frey. Jeff currently holds the position of CEO at Frey.
Jeff Laursen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Trade from Copenhagen Business School in 2008 and a B.Sc in the same field in 2009. Jeff also obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Henley Business School in 2016. Prior to that, they completed a two-year program in Economics, Projects, Maritime Law, and Logistics at A. P. Moller Maersk in 2006. In 2003, Jeff Laursen completed their high school education at Grenaa Gymnasium, obtaining a Studenter Eksamen degree with a focus on Mathematics and English.
