Brian Byrd

Brian Byrd has nearly 20 years of work experience, primarily in packaging engineering and design roles. Brian most recently served as the Director of Packaging Engineering at Frida since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Manager of Structural Packaging at Frida from May 2019 to March 2022. Before joining Frida, they were the Senior Packaging Engineer and Experience Designer at Belkin International from May 2017 to May 2019. Brian also worked as a Senior Structural Packaging Engineer and a Structural Packaging Engineer at Munchkin from 2012 to 2017. Additionally, they gained experience as a Senior Industrial Designer at innovative Kids and Senior Packaging Engineer at Fisher-Price. Brian began their career as an Exhibit Designer at Empire Exhibits & Displays and held an internship as an Exhibit Design Intern at Koehler Industrial Design and an Industrial Design Intern at MIDI Product Development.

Brian Byrd earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Industrial Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Brian attended the institution from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their degree, Brian also obtained a Certificate of Mastery in Packaging Management from The Packaging School in March 2023.
