Mohamad YASAR B.Eng, CFM® (IFMA) possesses extensive experience in facilities management and engineering within the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Director of Facilities Management & Engineering at Friday Harbour Resort since August 2021, Mohamad is responsible for crafting and implementing a comprehensive property management plan aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization. Previous roles include Director of Engineering at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, Sofitel, and Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Dubai, with a focus on asset protection, energy footprint improvement, and project management. Additional experiences include leadership positions at Accor, JA Resorts & Hotels, Sheraton Dammam Hotel and Convention Centre, Trident Hotels, and Taj Hotels. Mohamad holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gogte Institute of Technology and a high school diploma from St Pauls High School.
