Carlos Uribe

Carlos Uribe has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Carlos started their career as a Senior Unix System Administrator at UBS in 2002. In 2003, they joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Senior Information Technology Associate before being promoted to Vice President of Technical Operations, Engineering, and Development in 2011. Carlos held this role until 2020. Currently, they are working as a Senior System Engineer at The Friedkin Group, starting in June 2021.

Carlos Uribe completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston-Downtown, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. Carlos further pursued their education and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Rice University between 1996 and 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Carlos has obtained several certifications in various fields. In August 2020, they completed certification programs on topics such as "Improving Your Listening Skills," "Nail Your Python Interview," "Python Object-Oriented Programming," "Python for Data Visualization," and "Using Python for Automation" from LinkedIn Learning. Carlos also obtained the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2020.
