Lori Roberts, M.Ed has a diverse work experience in the field of educational technology and information technology teaching. Lori currently holds the position of Lead Learning Guide at friEdTech since 2022. Prior to that, Lori worked as an Educational Technology Specialist at Goose Creek CISD from 2012 to 2022, where they developed and facilitated professional learning opportunities for district staff and provided support on various software and tools. Before that, they served as an Information Technology Teacher at Dayton Independent School District from 2003 to 2012, where they developed curriculum, taught technology courses, conducted professional development sessions, and mentored students in a student organization.
Lori Roberts, M.Ed has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational/Instructional Technology from Lamar University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Information & Operations Management from Texas A&M University, from 1998 to 2002. Lori also holds additional certifications from various institutions such as Apple, Wakelet, Pear Deck, Edpuzzle, and Google, including being an Apple Distinguished Educator and a Google Certified Educator. Lori is also certified by the Texas Education Agency in Technology Applications and Business Administration.
