Ezra Shashoua has an extensive work experience in the finance industry. Ezra began their career as the Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Board of Directors at FriendFinder Networks Inc., a leading social networking and technology company. Ezra then worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Nationsrent Inc., one of the largest construction equipment rental companies in the United States, before its sale to Sunbelt Rental. Shashoua also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Cruzan International Inc., a producer and marketer of premium beverage alcohol products. Ezra later served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer at VMR Products LLC, a global electronic cigarette company with a vertically integrated business model. Prior to these roles, Shashoua was the Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of 7-Eleven Canada Inc, the largest convenience store operator in the world.

Ezra Shashoua pursued their education with dedication, starting in 1972 at Northwestern University. There, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology and Economics in 1976. Continuing their academic journey, they enrolled at the Chicago-Kent College of Law, which is part of the Illinois Institute of Technology, in 1976. Ezra Shashoua focused on the field of Law during their time at this institution and successfully earned their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in 1979.
