Le B.

LE B. is an experienced advocate with a strong background in civil rights and education. Currently serving as Lorde’s Werq Fellow at Southerners On New Ground and an Advocacy Corps Lobbyist for the Friends Committee on National Legislation, LE also holds the position of Deputy Director at the Dallas Peace and Justice Center. Previous roles include Local Engagement Specialist at the ACLU of Texas, where LE focused on Criminal Justice Reform, Reproductive Freedom, LGBTQ Rights, and Immigrant Rights in Texas, and a Resident Teacher with Urban Teachers. Additionally, LE has extensive experience in youth leadership development and educational support through various roles, including serving as an advisor and staff member in educational settings. LE holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Secondary Education from Johns Hopkins University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Northwestern – St. Paul.
