Taal Hasak - Lowy

Taal Hasak-Lowy is an experienced executive and nonprofit leader, currently serving as the Executive Director of Friends of the Children in Chicago since May 2017. Previously, Taal Hasak-Lowy founded the Chicago office of American Jewish World Service, achieving a 50% increase in annual revenue while managing a portfolio of over 200 donors. With a robust background in development, Taal Hasak-Lowy has successfully raised significant funds for multiple organizations, including Horizons for Youth and Alachua County Public Schools Foundation, overseeing budgets and managing staff and volunteers. Taal Hasak-Lowy's earlier career includes legal experience as an Associate Attorney and managerial roles in corporate legal support, complemented by a Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
